Hey all!...its kinda in the middle of the night over here in my neck of the woods but similar to my other sewing and crafty buddies; we never hardly ever sleep...we are either sewing, thinking about sewing, talking about sewing, researching something about sewing, etc...you get the idea...If you didn't know I am also completely obsessed with sewing magazines...I have every volume of SewItAll and snatch up any other one I can get my hands on...My most recent finds were stitch|craft create Winter 2013 and Better Homes and Garden's Sew Fresh 2012; found 'em in Target the other day....
I whipped up a new shirt for myself earlier (did I ever share that I am kinda sorta a selfish stitcher? well I am but only a little wink-wink) but I still wanted to sew something else...My sewing magazines to the rescue...they are chock full of sewing ideas that can be modified to fit anyones fancy...I always make anything I make my own...that is one of the reasons I love sewing; it is so personal....
You know I will start to ramble so I'll get to the sharing of the photos...Today's/Tonight's projects include my pretty, sparkly new blouse (made from a pattern this go 'round) and some abstract hearts...
P.S. I do want to share that my hearts are GREEN; I made them from some of my scraps and the filling is t-shirt (my daughter was so kind as to slice one up I had in my stash) instead of fiberfill...they came out so darling...my bowl is beautiful tooooo!...oops, I rambling again LOL...okay, here are the pictures! (smile)

reference material (this line of patterns is very frugal; they dont have a bunch of complicated instructions or pattern pieces...very beginner-friendly....
