An "easy" pattern + Some hearts

Hey all!...its kinda in the middle of the night over here in my neck of the woods but similar to my other sewing and crafty buddies; we never hardly ever sleep...we are either sewing, thinking about sewing, talking about sewing, researching something about sewing, etc...you get the idea...If you didn't know I am also completely obsessed with sewing magazines...I have every volume of SewItAll and snatch up any other one I can get my hands on...My most recent finds were stitch|craft create Winter 2013 and Better Homes and Garden's Sew Fresh 2012; found 'em in Target the other day....
I whipped up a new shirt for myself earlier (did I ever share that I am kinda sorta a selfish stitcher? well I am but only a little wink-wink) but I still wanted to sew something else...My sewing magazines to the rescue...they are chock full of sewing ideas that can be modified to fit anyones fancy...I always make anything I make my own...that is one of the reasons I love sewing; it is so personal....
You know I will start to ramble so I'll get to the sharing of the photos...Today's/Tonight's projects include my pretty, sparkly new blouse (made from a pattern this go 'round) and some abstract hearts...
P.S. I do want to share that my hearts are GREEN; I made them from some of my scraps and the filling is t-shirt (my daughter was so kind as to slice one up I had in my stash) instead of fiberfill...they came out so darling...my bowl is beautiful tooooo!...oops, I rambling again LOL...okay, here are the pictures! Happy Holidays everyone!...I am not into the holidays these days, I just don't care for all the hoopla...however I do enjoy the lights and other people's genuine happiness...its just so commercial that it drains the meaning out for me...I have still been sewing though, I don't think hardly anything can put a damper on that.....I made my daughter and myself a new wallet...My baby girl had one of those wallets that are really hard; she overstuffed it and it started coming apart...I just wanted a new one with pretty fall colors....when Spring rolls around I will probably "need" another one...I made my baby girl's with some pretty, bright colors though...she picked them out of my stash....talk to you all soon...photos of our new wallets are below...
I almost forgot I also whipped up a pair of wrist warmers for myself and my huny's mom...I forgot to take photos of hers but mine are shown below...I'm sharing my new envelope clutch below too made from my own pattern I drafted....my skills are improving nicely if I do say so myself.....

Okay hey yall HEY

Hiiiii!..How is everyone this evening?...I hope good; as I am doing okay these days as well....the terrible stroke of luck seems to have subsided (at least for now) which always makes me feel much, much better....And with my good mood ALWAYS comes sewing and crafting....I cannot explain how much I love sewing...I never thought I would but my life is very much wrapped around it...I always look at my replica of a Pound Puppy I completed in high school and my sewing now; everything really does come back around...when good stuff comes back around its always the best and I thank God that sewing was one of them for me....I made a dress the other day and it came out super cute if I do say so myself...I didn't use a pattern; I tried I really did but they just irritate me so much...patterns, that is....they are just always such a big deal....Even the "So Easy" ones...what I came up with was perfect for me, especially since its my first sheath dress....I must admit though, I will have to suffer through this one sheath dress pattern because the cowl neck is just too cute....Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi...of course I will share some photos like I always do of my latest creations....Talk to everyone soon!

A pouch inspired by one I saw on Pinterest...and it gave me a reason to break out my fabric paint and brushes!  My daughter has already claimed it!
